A IMPORTÂNCIA DO PROCESSO DE TOMADA DE DECISÃO NAS INSTITUIÇÕES PÚBLICAS DE MALANJE

Abstract

This research aimed to understand the importance of the decision-making process in public institutions in Malanje:  study carried out at the Polytechnic Institute of URNM with a view to contributing to the improvement, growth and development of the singular decision-making process that exists therein. As for the methodology, our research is a model (Quantitative). For data collection, we used bibliographical research, participant observation, questionnaire survey and semi-structured interview. After having studied the subject in detail, and according to the results obtained, we noted that the decision-making process plays a preponderant role in the development of any institution, in society, in the political, economic, academic sector and in personal life, etc., etc. Because the success of an institution or any social project and personal life depends largely on the decisions that are made and these decisions go through a process of choosing alternatives. And that human irrationality limits the scope of optimal or rational decisions and that the decisions taken at the Polytechnic Institute are of the satisfactory type. Now, everyone makes decisions throughout their life. Therefore, the decision-making process is very important for the Polytechnic Institute and according to our theories, they have proven that a decision must be taken by a person or group after observing the process of analysis and choice of alternatives.
